Therapy that feels human, because you are.

If life feels overwhelming right now, you’re in the right place. When everything feels like too much, Rise and Renew is a place to be heard. There’s no right way to show up and no rush to have things figured out. We’re here to sit with you, support you, and help you find your footing again.

Thinking About Starting Therapy?

You don’t need to have a “big reason” or know exactly what to say. Maybe you’ve just been feeling off, overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for something to shift. Therapy is simply a space that’s yours—where you can talk it out, make sense of what’s going on, and feel supported without judgment. Starting can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure it all out before you begin.

  • Not at all. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or just wanting to understand themselves better. If it matters to you, it’s enough.

  • That’s completely okay. You don’t need to prepare anything. We can start with what’s been on your mind lately, how you’ve been feeling, or even just what brought you here. The conversation will unfold naturally.

  • If you’re curious about it, that’s usually a good sign. Therapy is a space to explore, reflect, and feel supported. You can start slow, ask questions, and see how it feels — there’s no pressure to have it all figured out.

Meet The Founder:

Julia Mazzotta, MSW RSW

You’re not here to be fixed, you’re here to be understood.

Rise and Renew Therapy was founded by Julia Mazzotta.

A registered social worker and psychotherapist who like many people spent years in therapy wondering if her therapist even liked her, let alone understood her.

(If you’ve ever left a session feeling more confused than when you walked in, she gets it).

After enough awkward silences and missed connections, Julia decided to create the kind of therapy space she always wished she had: one that actually feels human.

This is a space to feel seen, understood, and supported, without pressure to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out.
